FAQ
October is College Knowledge Month! During the month of October, I will be sending students in grades 9-12 a daily email with links to college and career related topics. There will also be a daily question related to the day's topic. All students answering correctly will get entered into a drawing for a prize each Friday in October. Today's topic was Free Applications to Minnesota State and Colleges and Universities. Several colleges waive application fees during the month of October. Please encourage your child to get their applications in this month!

The 2nd Graders went on a field trip to Prairie Wetlands Learning Center, followed by a visit to Otter Cove Children's Museum in Fergus Falls. The students loved discovering, looking at, and listening to nature at PWLC. At the museum, students could explore an indoor playground area, pretend play in a variety of recreated storefronts, entertain themselves with some arts and crafts, and much more.

With the changes in the FAFSA application for this year, the application will not be available until December. The information I shared regarding materials needed is still accurate, but the launch date is being pushed back to December. During conferences I will still be available in the Media Center for questions regarding FAFSA and that would be a good time to take advantage of the College Knowledge Month free applications. Please reach out to me if there are topics you have questions about so I can prepare materials/information for you.
