For students to receive certification, they complete an exam that tests their ability to perform essential tasks in Microsoft Office productivity applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. We want to give a special shout to Mary Beach, TJ Glenetske, Ean Kallstrom, Adelynne Olschlager, Ava Kallstrom, Emmarose Olschlager, Emily Dierks, and Tyler Stier. They were nominated, selected, and performed in the Northwest Minnesota Directors Association Honor Band this past weekend. They performed with over 190 students from 36 different schools covering from Osakis up to the Canadian border. Congratulations to them all!

The 2025-2026 FAFSA is open for students planning to attend college next fall. After 18 rounds of spelling competition, congratulations to 5th grader Lucy Dahlheimer on becoming our Osakis Spelling Bee Champion! She won with the word 'psychometry.' Lucy will now compete at the Region IV competition in Fergus Falls on Tuesday, February 11th. Congratulations to Lucy and all the competitors today!
