National Center for Missing & Exploited Children have just launched a brand new resource to help keep children safer online!

No Escape Room is an interactive video that presents a storyline about how quickly sextortion can occur. Our newly released guide provides additional context, conversation starters and safety strategies so you can explore these scenarios with your child and develop a prevention strategy together.

Offenders are using social media, gaming platforms, AI-powered apps and other technology to gain access to children. Staying aware and involved helps ensure online experiences remain positive for your child.

Activities Department Update: New Activities Software and Cashless Option Events Coming in Fall 2026
The Prairie Conference and Osakis Public School will implement two changes beginning in Fall 2026 to improve efficiency with school activities and enhance the game-day experience for fans and families.
First, the district will transition from rSchools to Bound as its activities management software following Arbiter's acquisition of rSchools. The Prairie Conference reviewed both Arbiter and Bound and determined that Bound was the better fit for our conference and schools. Bound is widely used throughout Minnesota and will provide more accurate schedules, improved communication, and better coordination for students, families, coaches, and staff.
Second, all home activities and most away conference games will move to a cashless admissions system option. Ticket purchases will be accepted through debit/credit cards and mobile payment options.
We believe these changes will help reduce lines, improve consistency, and simplify event operations.
As we transition to the new system, the district will provide an FAQ for community members and families explaining how the process will work. Pass purchase options will remain available, and school staff will be present at events to answer questions. Additional information will be shared with families as the transition approaches.
The district appreciates the community’s continued support of school activities and looks forward to welcoming fans to upcoming events.
Go Silverstreaks!

Ms. Knott's Great MN Outdoors class had an awesome opportunity to get out of the classroom and into the water for a rainbow trout stocking field trip! They were able to get hands-on experience releasing rainbow trout into a local creek and learned a lot about what environments can support trout and how to fish for them! A big thank you to everyone who helped make this experience possible. We appreciate the coordination, time, and knowledge shared to give our students such a meaningful, real-world learning opportunity.

From tree to table! Ms. Knott's Landscape Design class took on the full maple syrup process, starting by tapping maple trees, then collecting and boiling the sap, and finishing it all off with a well-earned pancake feast. Along the way, students learned the process of tapping trees, the time and patience it takes to produce syrup, and the value of hands-on learning outdoors. Nothing beats seeing (and tasting!) the results of your hard work. A sweet ending to an even sweeter project!
